Former Police Officer Eddie Craig joins Felony Friday host John Odermatt and shares how individuals can protect their rights when coming in contact with the long arm of the law.
Eddie is an Air Force veteran and a former deputy Sheriff. During this episode Eddie shares the circumstances that led him to leave the police force. Many of you may remember Eddie from his interview on the Tom Woods Show, where he discussed in-depth what to do when the police pull you over.
You're going to get pulled over. Take the time to memorize Eddie's script. Pick your battles wisely, but always understand your rights.

On today's show host John Odermatt was joined by Brian Engelman of The New American Media. Brian is the founder of The New American Media and the host of the internet radio shows Agree to Disagree and The Unhappy Hour. Brian is no stranger to the Lions of Liberty podcast. He's appeared on a few past episodes hosted by Marc Clair. Brian Engelman first appeared way back on Episode 18, in the early days of the Lions of Liberty Podcast. Brian also joined Marc on Episode 47 in August of 2014.
John and Brian kicked things off by discussing a little sports, specifically the Cleveland Cavaliers historic run to a NBA title (Brian's from Cleveland, we appeased him.) Then John and Brian shift the conversation to some very serious topics centering around the tragic shootings involving police that have been dominating the news cycle the past few weeks and wrapped the show up by playing the fastest growing podcast game show, Is this a Crime and Should Anyone do Time?
Here's links to everything John and Brian talked about:
- Cleveland Browns running back Isaiah Crowell posted an illustration of a police officer getting his neck slashed by a hooded man
- Footage of Alton Sterling shooting appears to show gun
- It Looks Like the Media May Have Bought a False Narrative in Philando Castile Shooting - Author is two time Felony Friday guest John Ziegler (FF08 & FF14)
- How the Dallas Police Used an Improvised Killer Robot to Take Down the Gunman
- Conservative blogger Michael Strickland arrested after drawing gun at Black Lives Matter protest
- This Good Samaritan Was Billed After Helping a Family in a Car Crash
*Bonus - Check out the video in this article that The New American Media recorded from the Republican National Convention. This video was featured in a Breitbart story, which was the lead story on Drudge last Tuesday.

Welcome back to Mr. Johnson's Libertyhood, our semi-regular feature wherein we’ll look at the ongoing actions of Libertarian Presidential Candidate Gary Johnson and his running mate Bill Weld. Longtime listeners will recognize the format, as it follows the popular Rand Pauluses and Minuses formula, however this time we’ll be grading Gary with JohnsONs for statements that we see as positive for liberty, and JohnsOFFs for those that raise our eyebrows or fists.
Some of the topics we cover in today’s episode include the recent Johnson/Weld campaign ad, the tragic shootings of Alton Sterling and Philandro Castille, and the alleged retribution killings of police officers in Dallas . We’ll also look at Gary's best breakdown of the drug legalization argument, the Hillary Clinton email non-indictiment and Bill Weld's constant attempts to undermine Gary at every turn.
So, won’t you be our neighbor and join us once again in Mr. Johnson’s Libertyhood?
