Electric Libertyland 30: Imran Iwan Arrested, Dems' New Better Deal
Wednesday Jul 26, 2017
Wednesday Jul 26, 2017
In this week's Electric Libertyland host Brian McWilliams examines and mocks the "New Better Deal" that the Democrats rolled out, unravels the flawed logic behind a link between climate change and terrorism, takes on the new manic wailing of the left on the Healthcare vote in the Senate, and rails against the death of a bill that would have established a third party panel to review police shootings & use of deadly force in CA. Brian then wraps it up with a quick take on this week's "Game of Thrones" (is it jumping the progressive shark?) and rips up a Vox article about "workplace dictatorships."
There's also breaking news that one of former DNC Chair Rep .Debbie Wasserman Schultz's IT chiefs, Imran Iwan was arrested at Dulles airport attempting to flee the country and was arrested for bank fraud. This could be a huge happening for unraveling much of the Russia hacking myth and the DNC hacks. Imran and his brothers worked for over 30 House & Senate democrats and despite being "fired" Imran was still on Schultz' payroll, even though he was banned from having access to servers.

Today on Felony Friday host John Odermatt is joined by Officer Dominick Izzo. Officer Izzo is a 16 year veteran police officer. You've probably seen his videos that he often shoots in his car, pop up in your Facebook feed. During his time as a police officer Officer Izzo received numerous honors and awards while serving in his community and he says on his website that it's his goal to bridge the gap between the police and the public through education, empowerment and respect.
In 2015 he started publishing videos where he began to expose police corruption. Officer Izzo spoke against the War on Drugs and revealed shady dealings behind the scenes in the Round Lake Police Department where he was employed. He vocally opposed a system that he believed was using officers to punish the very people they were hired to serve. Late last year, Officer Izzo called for his Police Chief's resignation. Ultimately, this resulted in Dominick Izzo being terminated from his position at the Round Lake Police Department.
During the interview Officer Izzo shares what led him to pursuing a career in law enforcement. Izzo discussed the events that led him to speak out against corruption in his department. Finally, Dominick explains the point system his Police Chief used to manipulate the police officers in his department to pursue charges for victimless crimes and other petty revenue generating offenses.
