257. Chuck Dixon on "Clinton Cash", and Breaking Batman's Back
Wednesday Oct 26, 2016
Wednesday Oct 26, 2016
In today's episode, host Marc Clair channels his inner fanboy and welcomes in renowned comic book writer, Chuck Dixon! Not only has Chuck worked on many well known characters in the comic book realm such as The Punisher, Batman and the Simpsons; he has also recently adapted the graphic novel edition of Peter Schweizer's "Clinton Cash", which breaks down the machinations of Bill and Hillary Clinton through their "charitable" organization, The Clinton Foundation.
Chuck explains how he developed a passion for the comic book medium at a young age, how he was able to break through into the "Big Time" with Marvel and DC, and what it was like to write what has become a classic Batman tale - one which saw both the introduction of the character "Bane" and the breaking of Batman's back.
Marc and Chuck then discuss "Clinton Cash" - why Chuck was the only man for the job of adapting this book into graphic novel form, some of the more egregious actions of the Clintons (including the sickening exploitation of the citizens of Haiti after the massive 2010 earthquake there), and just how this political power couple seems to get away with just about anything.

251. Hillary's Crimes in Libya and Syria

Wednesday Oct 05, 2016
In today's episode of Lions of Liberty, host Marc Clair welcomes Jim Ostrowski back to the program. Jim first appeared on the Lions of Liberty podcast back in episode 189, in which he discussed how he became a libertarian, as well as his ideas about how best to achieve liberty ideals outside of politics and his thoughts on progressivism. Today, he returns to the program to discuss a book, co-authored with his brother Michael, which seeks to make the case that both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton committed impeachable crimes with their actions, both covert and overt, in regards to the wars in Libya and Syria.
If your friends support Hillary because of her foreign policy "experience", this is one show you'll want to be sure to listen to in order to hit them back hard with the facts.
