Introduction:
Today on Felony Friday I am joined by Pete Hendrickson. Pete is a fascinating guy who champions a controversial method to help people recover income tax withholding from federal and state governments. He is the author of the book Cracking the Code and on his website Lost Horizons he publishes success stories submitted by citizens who have utilized his teachings to reclaim income tax withholding.
In his book, Hendrickson delves into the history, statutes and case law behind the tax code to reveal startling and liberating secrets. It is though these revelations that he has helped thousands of people recover huge sums of tax dollars from federal and state governments.
What we talked about:
- Pete explains what triggered his interest in the income tax and how he used technology available as an aid to help with cracking the income tax code
- Most people believe that the 16th Amendment is responsible for creating the income tax. Pete explains why this is not true and explains the true intent of the law.
- According to Pete, income tax law is written with the intent of keeping government small. He explains why so many do not know this truth and he explains how the income tax has become misunderstood.
