LoLP 76: James Babb - The Jury Rights Project!
Tuesday Feb 03, 2015
Tuesday Feb 03, 2015
In this episode of the Lions of Liberty Podcast, host Marc Clair is joined by activist James Babb of We Won't Fly and the Jury Rights Project! James describes how he first became interested in libertarianism and what led him to become an activist. James and Marc then discuss the concept of jury nullification, how it has been used in history to effectively overturn bad laws, and just why it's so important for every citizen to understand and utilize the concept. James discusses the work he is doing with the Jury Rights Project, why they are pamphleting with jury nullification information outside the courthouse where alleged Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht is on trial, and how the court has reacted to it. As you might expect by now, Marc has some thoughts of his own in the wrap-up rant!
