At the age of nineteen-years-old was making more than $2 million per year selling illegal drugs using an elaborate delivery system. He reinvented how drugs were sold in his neighborhood and became the "Uber of the drug trade" before Uber even existed.
At the age of twenty-three Defy Ventures, an organization that helps the formerly incarcerated become entrepreneurs, founded has founded a wildly successful fitness company, was convicted and spent more than 7 years in prison. During his incarceration doctors warned him that his cholesterol and weight placed him on a path to an early death. This information, combined with another an "aha" moment during some time spent in solitary confinement, motivated to lose 70 lbs in jail and changed his outlook on life. crafted a fitness program combining cardiovascular, aerobic, and running exercises while serving out his sentence.
