ELL 47: Electric Libertyland Thanksgiving Extravaganza Especiale!
Wednesday Nov 22, 2017
Wednesday Nov 22, 2017
On this very special Thanksgiving edition of Electric Libertyland (episode 47), Brian welcomes in the drunken Lions of Liberty family: Marc Clair and John Odermatt, as well as extended liberty family from the Johnny Rocket Launchpad! Yes, Johnny "Rocket" Adams and Curt Nelson bring holiday cheers, jeers, and highly inappropriate humor to the liberty dining table, as has become our annual tradition.
The gang gets into discussions on the "It's OK to be White" college sign flap, who's the biggest liberty turkey of the year, how absurdly sad and inconvenient a local Libertarian Party meeting location was, and then get down and dirty with rounds of "Cats Cradle" and "RocketFire" questions, which brings the issue of "who will build the space roads??" to bear. It's a whole lot of family dysfunction, just like in your own home!

Monday Nov 06, 2017
On today's show, Marc is joined by Connor Drigotas, founder of the Better Money PAC, which aims to help political candidates who support their three tenets of support for cryptocurrencies, free markets and financial responsibilitity. Conner describes how hearing a certain libertarian Presidential candidate speak turned him onto the ideas of liberty (and it might surprise you which one!) and how his experience at an End the Fed rally inspired him to create the Better Money PAC. Conner and Marc discuss the importance of cryptocurrencies and the political challenges they are facing, why the massive $20 Trillion in debt should be seen as a grave danger, and Conner answers critics who oppose political action as antithetical to the ideas of liberty.

Wednesday Sep 20, 2017
Wednesday Sep 20, 2017
In this week's episode of Electric Libertyland, host Brian McWilliams gives his take on the Trumpian circle-jerk that was the 2017 Emmy Awards, and how politics and entertainment need to take a break from each other. He then turns towards more serious topics including the utter failure of the Federal Reserve's quantitative easing programs, the GOP's last-ditch effort to repeal Obamacare (kind of) with the Graham-Cassidy plan, the state of the 1st Amendment, new climate research and an idiotic idea in the UK to limit voting rights based on internet trolling.
