On today's episode of Felony Friday Randall Lord joins host John Odermatt. This is a heartbreaking interview, because Randall was just sentenced to 46 months in prison for buying and selling Bitcoins without a license. His son, Michael Aaron Lord, was sentenced to 106 months in prison after pleading guilty to running an unlawful money business and a narcotics distribution conspiracy charge. Randall is scheduled to begin serving time in July. A member of the Lions of Liberty Forum brought Randall's case to our attention and upon learning of the gross injustice Randall was suffering.
Randall is a long time libertarian activist. He's run for office multiple times and he would have run again if this legal trouble had not intervened in his life. He needs support in this difficult time. Towards the end of the show John and Randall discuss the uncertainty surrounding what will happen to his house, because the Feds might seize it using civil asset forfeiture laws. This case has turned this family's life upside down, so please share this episode and share Randall's story with your friends. We live in a very unjust world and people need to be reminded of that.
